Rehau, Inc.
Founded in 1948 by Helmut Wagner in Rehau, Bavaria, REHAU began with just three employees and one extruder, producing shoe welting, garden hoses, and automotive components. The company quickly expanded, becoming a key supplier for the automotive industry, including manufacturing arm straps and sideboards for the VW Beetle in 1951. In 1958, REHAU extruded its first PVC window profile and magnetic gasket system for refrigerator doors, marking a significant milestone in its product development. By 1962, REHAU had established its first international production facility in Montreal, Canada, and continued to grow its global presence
